Weekday Private Events may be booked Monday through Thursday (excluding holidays). For these events, the play café is closed to the public to ensure your event is exclusive to you. Early Private Events (starting prior to 5:15pm) are booked at a rate of $800. For available dates and booking an Early Private Event, email info@littlebeansplaycafe.ca.
Our café space is large enough to host a big family dinner, event, or birthday party, and the playspace provides hours of fun for children. Hosting your event at Little Beans means the space and clean up is taken care of, and the kids stay busy – so you can relax and enjoy! The entire playspace is all yours, and the café tables and seating can accommodate all of your guests. The upstairs mezzanine area will be closed off but is available at an additional cost, please contact us to inquire.
Please note, our café kitchen is closed and not accessible during this time and all food and drink is provided by you. Please bring all plateware, cupware, and cutlery. We can provide ice for your own container. We have great local catering recommendations if needed.
Maximum Occupancy: 65 guests (can seat 46).
Liquor is allowed, with your own special events permit, check this website for information on how to obtain a SEP https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/employment-business/business/liquor-regulation-licensing/liquor-licence-permits/apply-for-liquor-licence-permit/special-event-permit. The special event permit will need to be displayed at the cafe during your event. If serving liquor, you are required to have your own liability insurance (minimum $2 million) with "LBPC Kids Inc" named as an additional insured. If you do not have your own insurance broker to obtain this insurance for you, please feel free to contact Dave Blake with Hub Insurance Dave.blake@hubinternational.com. Please send the insurance coverage to info@littlebeansplaycafe.ca the week before your party or you will not be able to serve liquor.
One Little Beans Play Café employee will be on site to help with clean up and lock up. You have 15 minutes before your party start time to set-up and 15 minutes after your party time to clean up.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking date.
A 72hr cancellation policy is in effect as a courtesy to the business. No-shows and bookings cancelled when the cancellation policy is in effect are billed the full amount of services with no refunds given. Please call us directly at (604) 492 - 0390. Private Events require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Should you need to cancel your booking, give us as much notice as possible and we will do our best to reschedule you.
