🐾 Important Update from The Alaska Cat Café 🐾 This past weekend one of our kittens had a health emergency. She is improving, but out of an abundance of caution — and on the advice of our veterinary partners — the Cat Lounge visiting area will remain closed until Sunday, September 7th. ✨ The health and well-being of our cats always comes first. It only takes one person carrying an illness to put our rescues at risk, so these precautions are vital to keeping them safe. But here’s the good news: the Café side is still open! 🥐☕🍲 You can still come in and enjoy all of your favorite: Freshly brewed coffees and espresso drinks Refreshers, teas, and specialty lattes Pastries, cookies, and baked goods Soups, sandwiches, and other tasty lunch options Cute Cat Café merchandise to take home Your support of the Café pays the bills, keeps our staff working, and most importantly funds the care of our rescue cats. 💛 Every latte, pastry, and sandwich you buy directly helps us keep the cats safe and loved. So while the cats stay safe and monitored, please stop by for breakfast or lunch, grab a coffee, or pick up some Cat Café merch. Together, we can keep the mission alive until the Cat Lounge doors open again. 🐾 Thank you for being part of our community and for always putting the cats’ health first. We can’t wait to welcome you back into the lounge after September 7th! Welcome to the Cat Lounge at The Alaska Cat Cafe! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for both our guests and our cats, please review the following: Children under 13 must be accompanied into the Cat Lounge area by an adult. A fee for adults accompanying children is required for both the child and adult. Waiver Required: A liability waiver must be signed prior to entry. All minors under 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian before entry. Visit Duration: Visits are 1 hour long with a maximum of 10-13 guests per session. Arrival Time: Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in and complete your waiver. Booking Info: Appointments are not required but are HIGLY recommended to guarantee your spot. Walk-ins are welcome but it is not guaranteed there will be availability in the Cat Lounge Area. Bookings are non-refundable, but you may reschedule if needed. Rescheduling is self-service through the booking site. Please do NOT call or email to reschedule. 💛 All proceeds from Cat Lounge visits go directly to The Cat Cottage, our nonprofit rescue partner.
