POWER FLOW LITE
Power Flow Lite
Power Flow is a dynamic style of yoga that emphasizes strength, stamina, and fluid movement. It combines elements of traditional Vinyasa flow with a focus on building muscular power, core stability, and endurance. Often fast-paced, Power Flow involves a series of challenging poses linked together in a flowing sequence, synchronized with the breath.
This is a scaled back version of the traditional Power Flow with a focus on the same creative flow at a pace available to yogis of all levels!
Key characteristics of Power Flow include:
Dynamic Movement: Continuous transitions between poses to keep the body engaged.
Strength Building: Incorporates poses that challenge and develop strength, such as arm balances (optional), plank variations, and standing postures.
Cardiovascular Benefits: The vigorous pace often elevates the heart rate, making it a form of cardiovascular exercise.
Customizability: Sequences are adaptable to different levels of experience and physical ability, allowing practitioners to modify as needed.

This 5-week progressive series uses bodyweight, resistance bands, and light weights (up to 20 lbs) to develop foundational strength that supports everyday movement and your yoga practice.
Designed for all ages and experience levels, with modifications and progressions offered throughout.

RESTORATIVE YOGA WITH SOUND HEALING, ACUPUNCTURE & AROMATHERAPY
Restorative Yoga infused with essential oils with the healing benefits of Acupuncture and Sound Bowls
Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support your body. The main focus of Restorative Yoga is to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation through these relaxing poses, being completely supported by props, without strain or pain.
Combined with the ancient method of Acupuncture, Kortney from Stony Plain Acupuncture will be placing needles in specific points to help support and nourish you, seeds for acupressure are also available to those who do not want needles!
Infused with the healing power of pure therapeutic grade essential Oils this class is meant to create a complete sense of calm and relaxation through the mind, body and soul!
To complement this practice Jodylee Wyldchyld will be joining us to share her gift of sound bowls. The sound bath throughout the practice improves energy and raises our vibrations. As the sound vibrations open, clear and balance chakras they release blocked energy. Some may experience deep healing but all will leave feeling refreshed and balanced.
Please arrive 10 minutes early and wear comfortable clothing with pant legs that can be pulled up to accommodate needle points!
