Dialectical Behavior Therapy or DBT is a type of therapy that’s helpful for people who want to improve their response to whatever their day throws at them. DBT helps you learn how to find more ease and flow within your day by promoting mindfulness and acceptance. By signing up for the first session, you are committing to all four sessions. Sessions will be billed weekly.
In DBT 101, you’ll find a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals come together to learn and practice valuable skills that can be integrated daily for self-regulation. If you find yourself having strong reactions to events that come up in your day, like a strong emotional response, reactions you regret later, spiraling thoughts, or a total derailment of your day, the strategies and tools in DBT might be helpful to you. Basically, DBT helps you learn how to find more ease and flow within your day by promoting mindfulness and acceptance. You learn how to accept yourself and your life as it is, while also figuring out how to change the things that aren’t working for you. It’s like a toolkit for dealing with tough emotions, stressful relationships, or activating situations.
