Nestled just outside the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, our Townsend Distillery offers a place to slow down and settle in on the Peaceful Side of the Smokies.

Set along the Little River, the distillery brings together a working production space, a thoughtfully curated bottle shop, a full bar with guided tastings, experiences, and signature cocktails, and a café offering a full menu to complete your visit. Step outside into our Beer Garden, where open-air seating, lawn games, and a relaxed atmosphere make it easy to linger a little longer. Whether you’re stopping in after a day outdoors or planning time with friends, it’s a place designed to be enjoyed at your own pace.

Gather Around™ indoors or out on the patio or in the Beer Garden, where there’s plenty of room to relax, play a game of cornhole, or simply take in the surroundings. Join us for a scheduled tasting or live music—or come by during a quieter moment to enjoy a cocktail and the natural beauty that makes Townsend feel like a true escape.
